Configure NAVCOM AI

Settings can be managed in the web portal or with Discord slash commands. Both write the same database.

Portal: navcom.ai/login → Manage servers. Discord: type / for NAVCOM commands.

Getting started

Web UI

  1. Register at navcom.ai and verify email.
  2. Link Discord from the dashboard.
  3. Manage servers → Install bot → Manage settings.

Verification

Everyone

/verify [rsi_handle]

Bio code flow for RSI ownership. Then roles/nicknames apply.

Everyone

/remove_verification · /check_verification

Clear or inspect verification.

Admin: portal Verification tab or /set_verification_role.

Organization & rank roles

Map org SIDs and ranks 0–5 (5 = highest). Portal Organizations tab or /set_org_role / /set_rank_role / /refresh_roles.

Membership & rank scopes

Main org only vs all orgs for membership and ranks separately. Portal Nicknames tab or /set_org_role_scope / /set_rank_role_scope.

Nicknames

Formats: no change, org name, name org, name only. Source: handle or display. Optional ✅. Portal Nicknames or /set_nickname_config.

Welcome messages

Discord markdown, {user}, #channel auto-link. Portal Welcome tab or /set_welcome_message.

Dynamic voice

Starter channel spawns temporary rooms. Portal Voice tab or /add_dynamic_vc.

Action log

Staff channel with toggleable events. Portal Action log tab or /actionlog channel|events|view|disable.

Common use cases

Org server

  1. Verified role + org/rank maps + Main/Main scopes.
  2. Nicknames + welcome + action log.
  3. Members run /verify.
